Megan grew up in a small country town in Western Australia, and had always wanted to play violin from a young age. Without a music teacher in town, it wasn't until her family moved to Perth that she was able to commence violin lessons at age 10. Having played all through schooling years and falling in love with the WA youth orchestras, she landed on music as her career.

In 2015 she completed a Bachelor with Honours in Classical Performance (violin) at WAAPA and the Conservatorium of Music in Tasmania, following on with a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education in 2017. Her love for music education saw her completing the level 1 training in Kodaly primary education in 2018 with distinction. In 2019 she accepted a scholarship to the Berlin Opera Academy program to further develop her orchestral skills and performance.

For the past 10 years Megan has been teaching in schools, teaching one-on-one lessons, group classes, and running strings ensembles. She continues to actively play in performances around Perth, and performs at weddings and corporate functions.
